Emily served in the Air Force from May 1992 to August 2012. As a nineteen-year-old girl with no military experience, she worked hard and earned her way into the medical field as a flight med tech. At the same time, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health.
Emily has been stationed at Dover AFB, Robins AFB and Pease Air Base in New Hampshire. Emily was deployed to Saudi Arabia and UAE in 1994 during Operation Desert Storm and twice to Qatar for Operation Enduring Freedom in 2001. She was also deployed to Iraq in 2007 during Operation Iraqi Freedom. She achieved the rank of Master Sergeant and retired after 20 years of service in 2012.
Emily and her husband, Travis, enjoy traveling, cruising, fishing, playing tennis, pool, and trivia, as well as spending time with their family.
